About
Blind Monkey is a cover band for hire in Sydney, NSW.
The show
They tend to open loud. AC/DC and Screaming Jets sit at one end of the set, and Wicked Game and Ain't No Sunshine at the other, so the night can start hard or ease its way in depending on what the room wants. The frontman is the engine of it, keeping things moving between songs rather than letting the energy sag. It looks like fun on stage and it sounds like it too, which is really the point of a covers band.
On the day
As a five piece the stage needs to hold two guitars, drums, bass and keyboards, with four microphones across the front. Worth measuring your space against that before you book, particularly if the band is going in a corner rather than on a proper stage. Mention the room size in your enquiry and they can tell you whether it'll fit comfortably.
