AJ is a cover band for hire in Brisbane, QLD.
Three players, three singers. AJ Trio is Aaron on guitar, Tyler on drums and Shannon on bass, and all of them sing, which gives this Brisbane covers trio more range than the lineup suggests. They mix the standards with more modern repertoire and read the crowd rather than sticking to a script. They've gigged across Queensland and New South Wales and kept venues asking them back. Setup takes about 40 minutes, they carry high end digital PA gear and their own lighting, and they'll put on a Spotify playlist between sets so the room never goes quiet. Every member is insured.
The show

The set mixes the standards everybody knows with newer material, and the balance shifts depending on who's in front of them, since they'd rather read the room than work through a fixed list. Energy is the point. They've played across Queensland and New South Wales and keep getting asked back, which tells you more than most descriptions could.
On the day
About 40 minutes to set up, so factor that into your run sheet. The PA is high end digital gear and the instruments are top end, all of it theirs. Lighting comes with them too. Between sets they can run a Spotify playlist through the system for background music, which keeps the room from going flat while the band takes a breather.
