About
Able Magwitch is a cover band for hire in Brisbane, QLD.
Able Magwitch have a history worth reading. The band came third in the 4IP and Colonials Queensland Rock Quest battle of the bands in 1975, then picked up statewide attention supporting Aussie rockers Hush on the Get Rocked national tour. Residencies around Brisbane and South East Queensland followed, along with support slots for Status Quo twice, Paul McCartney and Wings, AC/DC, Blondie, Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Skyhooks, Little River Band, Ol' 55, and Jeff St John and the Copperwine. After more than 25 years dormant they came back in 2014 with a fresh five piece lineup of guitar, drums, bass, keyboard and vocals, still playing the seventies material they cut their teeth on.
