7-Day Weekends is a cover band for hire in Brisbane, QLD.
Here's a clever touch: at a 7-Day Weekends show, a QR code sits on display so guests can send song requests straight to the band mid-performance, in real time. Around that sits classic rock and pop from the 50s through to today, driven by up to three vocalists trading harmonies over guitar, bass, keys and drums. The Brisbane act books as a 4 piece, trio or duo to fit the room, and every version brings all its own gear, with PA and lighting included. Outdoor gigs are fine too; a covered area is preferred but not essential.

The show
Guests can pick the songs while the band is mid-set. A QR code sits on display, someone scans it, types a request, and it lands with the band as an email in real time. Around that runs classic rock and pop from the 50s right through to now, with up to three vocalists stacking harmonies over guitar, bass and drums. It's played loud and played properly. Expect the room to be busy rather than politely seated, and expect a fair few of the songs to be ones your guests chose themselves on the night.
On the day
Everything comes with them: instruments, PA, lighting, the lot. So the venue supplies nothing more than a spot to play and power to run it. Outdoors is no problem. A covered area is preferred and makes the weather less of a worry, but it isn't a condition of booking, and plenty of outdoor gigs go ahead without one.
