5 Blues Drive is a cover band for hire in Sydney, NSW.
Blues rock, played by five mates who genuinely love it. The songbook leans on ZZ Top, Status Quo, The Doors, Free, T Rex, the Stones, Creedence, AC/DC and The Angels, and the goal is guests heading home hot, sweaty and croaky from singing along. They've built themed shows around the catalogue too, from The Great Aussie Pub Rock Show and The Route 66 Show to a Texas blues night and a beach party set. Weddings and birthdays get the gentler gears as well: an acoustic solo or duet cocktail set, and a dinner set kept at chatting volume while friends catch up. Bookings stretch from a one hour gig to a four hour show, shaped to your budget.

The show
This is blues rock played by people who love the genre and don't hide it. The aim is unsubtle and they own it: guests going home hot, sweaty and hoarse from singing along, the way you used to after a proper big night out. If that's the memory you want your crowd leaving with, this is the right band.
On the day
Load-in access somewhere near the performance area makes life a lot easier, so flag it if the room is up a flight of stairs or a long way from the car park. A performance space of 6 metres by 4 is ideal. Power needs depend on which show you book, but four power points covers lighting, PA, sound and backline.
Performance options
There are too many variables for a fixed package, so they don't pretend otherwise. What you can book is a length, anywhere from a one hour gig up to a four hour show. On top of that you pick a theme. There is The Great Aussie Pub Rock Show, or Route 66, or a beach party version, or a night of Texas blues, plus a birthday party show and a wedding show. Tell them the budget and they'll work with it.
