About
Sari Abbott is a country singer for hire in Sunshine Coast, QLD.
Sari Abbott won the EKKA Country Showdown and made the Starmaker top 10 at Tamworth in 2023, which is a decent pair of results for a singer, songwriter and guitarist from the Sunshine Coast. She writes with other artists but keeps the work hers, and the songs lean toward self-discovery and standing on your own feet. Lainey Wilson, Chris Stapleton and Ella Langley are the reference points. Live, she's a powerhouse: solo voice and guitar, country originals mixed with covers, and enough presence to hold a room without a band behind her. Weddings, pubs, country events. Just point her at a power outlet.
