About
Ingrid Mae is a country singer for hire in Penrith, NSW.
Country is the home ground, but Ingrid Mae doesn't stay put. The Penrith singer moves through pop, blues and rock across a show, with originals sitting alongside covers, and the band pulls from Fleetwood Mac, Chris Cornell, Chris Stapleton and Dolly Parton. There's a full three-hour show in the video section if you want to hear how a night actually runs. Setup is flexible: she can arrive with the whole production, or work off a venue's backline and PA, or land somewhere in between. Solo or full band, local to Sydney and wider NSW. Public liability insurance.
Watch
The show
Country is where Ingrid Mae started and it's still the centre of the show, but a night with her band moves through pop, blues and rock as well. Originals sit alongside covers rather than being saved for the end. She's been doing this for years and it shows in how she handles a room. The thing people tend to mention afterwards is her voice live, which lands differently to any recording of it.
On the day
Almost anything works here. The venue can supply the full backline and PA, Ingrid can bring the entire show herself, or you can split it somewhere in the middle. Send a message about what your venue already has and we'll sort out the arrangement that suits you both.
Performance options
There's a solo show and a full band show, both covering the Sydney region as local work. Wider NSW and interstate bookings are possible, just get in touch with your date and venue. Where you're supplying the PA and lighting production yourself, that's taken into account.
