About
Cush Ryder is a country singer for hire in Melbourne, VIC.
Country at the core, pub rock wrapped around it. Cush Ryder plays solo or with a full party band, and either way the crowd becomes part of the show, sometimes literally, with guests up on stage joining in. The songs run from old-school pub rock to modern tunes with country threaded all the way through, everything from Cold Chisel and INXS to Johnny Cash. He's from central Victoria and gigs across Melbourne and regional Victoria, with runs into New South Wales and Queensland. Full PA and lights come with him, so a venue only needs to supply power points. He'll pitch the night laid back or full throttle, depending on what the party calls for.
Watch
The show
A country rock band out of central Victoria that plays well beyond it. Cush can come as the full party outfit or on his own, and both work, though they're different nights. Solo is the loose, funny version. The band is the one that fills a floor. Either way the crowd tends to end up part of the show rather than watching it from the side.
On the day
A few power points, and that's genuinely the list. All the gear comes with him, full PA and a few lights, so there's nothing to hire in. A cold beer on arrival never hurts.
