About
Anne Fraser Music is a country singer for hire in Mount Barker, SA.
Songs written for the occasion are Anne Fraser's specialty. Alongside performing original country folk, Anne writes lyrics and poetry to order for weddings, funerals and special occasions, so the words in the room belong to the people in it. The performing side is a solo act on guitar and voice, running one to two hour sessions of storytelling, love songs and Australian ballads, with awards behind the writing including Lyricist of the Year at the 2025 CCMA awards in Tamworth. Based in Mount Barker, Anne brings mic, amp and guitar suited to rooms up to hall size, and is insured.
Watch
The show
A one to two hour session, just Anne with a guitar, and a fair bit of talking between the songs. She writes her own country folk and performs it alongside love songs and Australian ballads, and the storytelling is as much the point as the music. Her lyric writing has been recognised properly, with Lyricist of the Year at the 2025 CCMA awards in Tamworth. The room tends to talk back, which she encourages.
On the day
Anne supplies her guitar, microphone, leads and an amp sized for a room or a hall, so a hall booking doesn't need extra sound hire. Halls and function rooms are the sweet spot for that rig.
