About
Steve Allison is a comedian for hire in Gold Coast, QLD.
Three decades of stage time in Australia and overseas have earned Steve Allison a name among other comedians, which is a harder crowd to win than any paying audience. His industry peers have him down as a legend, and the comparison that keeps coming back is Paul Hogan: a likeable larrikin who talks to a room rather than at it. Stories, one-liners and observations that go further than you expect. He works a set of twenty to forty minutes, hosts as an MC, and can add a comedy juggling routine with the audience pulled into it. All he asks for is a microphone and a stand. Fully insured for public liability.
The show
A comedian with a lot of stage time behind him and a working knowledge of how to get a room laughing. Steve reads the crowd in front of him rather than running the same material regardless, which is the difference between a comic who has done a few years and one who has done a great many.
Performance options
As well as stand-up, Steve has a comedy juggling routine that pulls people out of the audience and into the act.
