About
Michael Crawford is a comedian for hire in Cairns, QLD.
Stand-up first, MC second. Michael Crawford is based in Cairns and tours Queensland and the rest of the country, currently with a solo show called The Shame Exorcist. Hosting work has taken him to the Reef Hotel Casino in Cairns, Melbourne Cup events and community sporting club nights. The stand-up goes to adult subjects. The MC work does not, and he describes it as running like his grandmother is in the room, which is a useful way to think about the difference. Two distinct jobs, and he's clear about which one you're booking.

The show
Which Michael Crawford you get depends on what you booked. The stand up goes to adult subjects and does not soften them. The MC work is strictly PG, and he describes his own test for it as performing as though his grandmother is sitting in the audience. Energy and laughs are the constant across both. Say which of the two jobs you want when you enquire and there is no confusion on the night.
