About
Luke Bolland is a comedian for hire in Perth, WA.
Perth-based, and one of the more experienced comedians working the city. Luke Bolland has taken his stand-up through Europe, the United States, Canada and around Australia, and the style is relatable rather than confronting, which is why he holds up at corporate events and big mixed-audience nights. He also does trivia and game show hosting, and voice work. Arrives early, every time. All he needs is a microphone and speakers, though he'll take stage lighting if it's there. If you want more than one comic on the bill, he can bring support acts.
Watch
The show
Luke's been doing this longer than most comics working in Perth, and the reputation rests on two things: he turns up early, and the show lands. Not the confronting sort of stand up. It's relatable material, which is why it survives a mixed corporate room where the audience ranges from the apprentices to the board.
On the day
A microphone and speakers, which most venues already have sitting there. Stage lighting is a bonus if it exists, though he'll happily work under whatever the room's got. Comedy needs less gear than music does, so there's no load-in to plan around and no long setup eating into your night.
Performance options
If one comedian isn't enough for the night, Luke can bring support acts and put together a bill with several comics on it.
