About
Gill Cordiner is a comedian for hire in Perth, WA.
Gill Cordiner is a Perth based stand up comedian who won WA Comedian of the Year in 2023, the same year she took out the Funniest 5 competition. Scottish by birth, she calls Perth home now, and a fair bit of her material comes out of that gap between the two. Sharp, sarcastic, observational, and very happy to roast the room if the room deserves it. She tours, with Edinburgh, Melbourne and Adelaide on the list, and she's a regular guest on 6PR. Best suited to an adult audience. She works as an MC too, and she needs a mic and a sound setup at the venue.
Watch
The show
A properly funny night, run professionally, pitched at an adult audience of men and women alike. Gill is sharp and observational, and the material assumes grown-ups in the room rather than a family crowd.
On the day
Gill performs on the venue's sound, so a microphone and a working setup need to be in place before she arrives. She doesn't carry her own. A spotlight isn't essential but it's what she'd prefer, and it makes a real difference to how a comedy set lands. Confirm all of it with the venue rather than assuming the room has it.
