About
Bubble's Christmas Cracker is a comedian for hire in Gold Coast, QLD.
Christmas songs, costumed comedy and plenty of audience participation, all wrapped into one stage show. Bubble's Christmas Cracker is built for end-of-year functions and Christmas in July events, mixing music with quick costume changes and comedy that pulls the crowd in. The Gold Coast act carries its own full production, audio and lighting included, so the venue only needs to provide a dressing room close to the stage. All the necessary insurances are held.
The show
It's Christmas from the first note to the last. Carols and Christmas songs you already know, comedy woven between them, and costume changes coming thick and fast. The crowd doesn't sit still either, because a good chunk of the show is built on getting people involved rather than watching politely. Works for the December work do and equally for a Christmas in July night, which is when a fair few of these bookings actually land.
On the day
The show arrives with its own production, audio and lighting both, so your venue doesn't have to supply a sound system or a lighting rig. What does matter is a dressing room, and it needs to be close to the stage. Costume changes happen mid-show and there's no time to cross a building. If there's no dressing room in the venue, an area near the stage that can be screened off will do the job.
