About
Aditya Gautam is a comedian for hire in Sydney, NSW.
Aditya Gautam works Sydney rooms as both a comedian and an MC, and he'll pitch the set wherever you want it. Clean for the corporate function or the wedding, a little less clean if the crowd is up for it. Five years of running his own shows sits behind that judgement, and it shows in the way he reads a room and keeps everyone comfortable while still landing the jokes. He aims for variety within a set, so the humour arrives in a few different flavours rather than one note repeated. Kit is simple: a mic, and sometimes a jack for the guitar. He carries his own insurance.

The show
Aditya Gautam builds a set with a few different kinds of humour in it rather than hammering one angle for the whole show, so a mixed room finds something to laugh at. He works as an MC as well as a comedian, and the two jobs feed each other. Five years of putting on his own shows means he's watched a lot of audiences from the side of a room, and he uses that to keep the night moving without anyone in the crowd ending up uncomfortable.
On the day
A microphone is the whole requirement most nights. Occasionally he'll want a jack to plug a guitar in, so worth checking your PA has a spare input, but there's no rig to load in and nothing to set up in advance. That makes him easy to slot into a function room that's already running.
