About
Adam Plant & Hardy Slerg is a comedian for hire in Brisbane, QLD.
Heckling isn't just tolerated at this show, it's built into it. Adam Plant and his puppet Hardy Slerg deal in anti-comedy: aggressive one liners, musical segments, drag, and a puppet with no manners at all. It's confrontational by design, and audiences who lean in get the most out of it. Brisbane based, the pair need only a microphone, a stage and a PA to work. But be honest about your crowd before booking. This one suits events chasing comedy that's strange, sharp and a little dangerous, not a safe ten minutes of observational material.
The show
Anti comedy, which is a polite way of saying the jokes go sideways on purpose. Adam Plant works with his puppet Hardy Slerg, and between them you get aggressive one liners, musical bits and drag. It's unconventional and it's meant to be. Guests who like their comedy a bit strange will get more out of this than guests expecting a safe ten minutes.
On the day
A microphone, a stage and a PA cover it. If your venue can't supply one of those, say so when you enquire and it can be worked out beforehand rather than discovered on the night.
