About
Slinkyfam is a clown for hire in Doubleview, WA.
Slinky manipulation, which is exactly what it sounds like and better than you would guess. Slinkyfam works Perth events with bounces, flips and twists, running up to three slinkies at once and bouncing them off heads, hands, shoulders and feet. Everyday objects get pulled in as well, cans, chairs, tables, alongside a kit of purpose built props. Costumes are loud, the wordplay is worse, and the colour is the whole point. Crowd members are always asked before they become part of the act, so nobody gets ambushed. For night shows, lighting is needed, and UV lighting turns the whole thing into something else again. Public liability insurance in place.
Watch
The show
Slinky manipulation, which sounds like a novelty until you watch it. Bounces, flips and twists, up to three slinkies going at once, and plenty of colour. Slinkyfam works the crowd directly, running tricks off people's heads, hands, shoulders and feet, and every single person gets asked first, so nobody is pulled into the act against their will. Everyday objects come into it too, cans, chairs, tables, alongside a kit of purpose built props. The costumes are loud and the jokes are the sort your dad would tell. Accessibility is taken seriously, so raise anything your guests need.
On the day
For a night booking, lighting is essential so the audience can see the act and the performer can see what he's catching. UV lighting is strongly recommended, and it turns the whole thing into a different show. Young children need supervising and kept a safe distance back, which is worth agreeing with him before the day. Beyond that the setup is light and he adjusts well to whatever conditions your venue throws up.
