About
Pepe el Smitnik is a clown for hire in Marrickville, NSW.
The show
A clown who works the room rather than performing at it. Pepe moves among your guests, and the character does the job of breaking the ice for people who don't know each other yet, which is most of the value at a party where two groups are meeting for the first time. There's laughing, there's interaction, and there's a bit of chaos in the good sense. Pepe can also take on real jobs while in character: bar work, the door, handing food around. So the clown isn't just entertainment sitting off to one side, it's part of how the event runs.
On the day
A room to change in, and somewhere secure to leave props and personal belongings during the event. That's the lot.
Performance options
Five ways to use him. The clown show with balloon twisting added, or the same show with giant bubbles instead. Roving clowning, where he works through the crowd with no fixed spot. A stage show for a seated audience. Or the party assistant option, where the character stays in the room all night and lends a hand with the running of things.
