About
Laughing Stock Productions is a clown for hire in Sunshine Coast, QLD.
Taco and Belle are donkeys, and they'll serve your guests a beer. That's the part people remember about Laughing Stock Productions, but the wider show involves ponies, horses, trick and stunt riding, motorbikes and more, running as roving entertainment or as a proper stage act. The animals are trained for event work. Based on the Sunshine Coast, they cover weddings, corporate days, festivals and kids' parties. Set-up depends on which version you book, so it's worth talking through what your space allows.
The show
Ponies, horses, donkeys, trick and stunt riding, motorbikes. Laughing Stock Productions can run it as roving entertainment moving through your guests, or set it up as a stage show they watch. Then there's the bit nobody forgets: Taco and Belle, two donkeys who'll carry beers and water around to your guests. It sounds daft written down. In practice it's the thing people are still talking about on Monday, and it's the reason the phone rings.
On the day
What you need to have ready depends entirely on which version of the show you book. Roving beer-serving donkeys around a lawn is a different proposition to trick and stunt riding or the motorbikes, and each one asks something different of your ground, your access and your space. Best to walk through the version you have in mind with them early, then match it against what your venue can actually hold. They will tell you what the animals and the act need once they know which show is coming.
