About
Joseph Raso is a classical singer for hire in Little Bay, NSW.
A classical voice pointed at songs people already love. Joseph Raso sings Perfect, All of Me, A Thousand Years and Can't Help Falling in Love alongside The Prayer, Time to Say Goodbye, Music of the Night and Maria, so a ceremony can run from opera one moment to Ed Sheeran the next without it feeling like two different acts. Romantic and slow, or lively, depending on what the day calls for. Piano is part of the picture too. Gear is minimal: a mixer and a speaker, and a microphone if the room needs one. Based at Little Bay in Sydney's east.

The show
Songs everybody in the room already knows, sung by a trained classical voice. That combination is the whole appeal of a Joseph Raso set: the delivery has real weight behind it, but the material is familiar enough that guests are humming along by the second line. Expect warmth rather than formality. It suits a ceremony, a reception or an event where you want something a cut above a backing track without the evening turning stiff.
On the day
Light on gear. Joseph brings a speaker and a mixer, and that's the whole rig. A microphone gets added when the room calls for it, though in a small chapel or a quiet garden ceremony he may not need one at all. Worth flagging the venue when you enquire so he can decide.
