About
Cameron De La Vega is a classical guitarist for hire in Brisbane, QLD.
Gypsy swing in the Django Reinhardt tradition, flamenco with some fire in it, jazz standards played sweet, and a handful of originals in between. That's the shape of this Brisbane classical guitar set. The playing moves fast and then sits back, going from driving rhythm work to slow, nostalgic melody without much warning. Live looping gets used too, layering parts up so a solo guitarist fills a room like a group. One reviewer called it a jaw dropping display of guitar virtuosity, which gives you the idea. Good fit for a function that wants real musicianship in the background and something worth stopping for when the speeches are done.

Camaron was exactly what we needed for the function last night, so many thanks for the recommendation. He played the perfect music to accompany our event, and was willing to be flexible as the various presentations and announcements were being made. We will have other events in the future, not always of this theme, so I will make contact with you again!
