About
Mind Body Circus is a circus workshop for hire in Melbourne, VIC.
Circus workshops and open play spaces, run for whoever turns up. The kit gets laid out, people wander over and start throwing things about, and the instruction comes either structured or loose depending on what suits the group. Work has covered primary schools, secondary schools, specialist schools and public events, and there are other trainers available when a group needs more hands. Equipment is cleaned after every session and the space is left clean and clear at the end. Worth a conversation first about what your group actually needs. Working with Children Check held. Based in Melbourne.
The show
She arrives, walks the venue with you and works out the best spot, then lays the equipment out ready for people to wander over and start playing. From there the instruction goes structured or loose depending on what the group needs on the day. At the end everything is packed away and the space is left clean and clear, so whoever has the room next finds it as they left it. Equipment gets cleaned after every session.
Performance options
Workshops are the main offering, but performance work is available too, so a school fete or a public event can have both from the one booking. Sessions run structured or as open play depending on what suits the group, and additional trainers come along when the numbers call for it. If you want the workshop and a performance at the same event, say so when you enquire. It is a normal request rather than a special one.
