Karizmatik Entertainment

Someone else runs the party for an hour or two, which is the real point. A character or superhero of your child's choosing arrives in costume and stays in character, and around that sit magic, balloon creations, bubbles, games and prizes. Face painting and a kids disco can go on top. Karizmatik Entertainment has been doing this for over fifteen years around the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, the Gold Coast and the suburbs in between, so the timing of a children's party is a solved problem for them. Parents get to sit down with a drink instead of running the show themselves.

Start by picking the character. The list runs to Elsa and Anna, a fairy, a princess, a unicorn princess, Belle, Spiderman, Superman, Supergirl, Batman, The Flash, Wonder Woman, Iron Man, a 007 spy, a wizard, a pirate, a clown and a commando. A meet and greet is the short version, just the appearance. Character parties come in one hour, ninety minute and two hour lengths: the hour covers games, magic, bubbles, prizes and a gift for the birthday child, ninety minutes adds either balloon twisting or face painting, and two hours gives you both. Dance parties run ninety minutes with choreography, taught in hip hop, break dance, jazz, contemporary, cabaret, ballet, Bollywood or cheerleading. There are also workshops in acting, singing, dance, sports and drama, and face painting or balloon twisting can be booked on their own.
