About
Limerick is a Celtic band for hire in Brisbane, QLD.
Four musicians, a fiddle player who wanders into the crowd like a Pied Piper, and no interest whatsoever in a quiet night. Limerick are Australian Celtic Music Award winners out of Brisbane, playing Celtic rock, traditional tunes, originals and modern crowd pleasers. Toe tapping, beer stomping, sing along stuff. They've been a feature band at some of the best venues and festivals across Queensland and New South Wales. The Shamrock Dancers often join them, and when the dancing shoes hit the floor the room gets noticeably louder. Weddings, festivals, corporate functions and birthdays.

The show
Four musicians, Australian Celtic Music Award winners, and a fiddle player who won't stay put. He roams the room like a Pied Piper and the crowd follows. Celtic rock sits alongside traditional tunes, their own material, and the modern songs a room will always sing back at you. The whole thing is built for toe tapping rather than polite listening. The Shamrock Dancers often join them. Limerick have headlined venues and festivals right across Queensland and New South Wales, so they know exactly how hard to push.
On the day
This is a full band PA setup. On the input list: acoustic guitar DI, electric bass DI running through backline, fiddle DI, a full microphone set on the drum kit, and four vocal mics. Pass that straight to your venue or sound company so the channels are ready before load-in, and the sound check goes quickly.
