About
Annette Eldridge is a cello player for hire in Melbourne, VIC.
Cello is the anchor here, but Annette Eldridge Entertainment stretches well past it: solo cello and violin, string ensembles, cello performed live around the venue, cello paired with a DJ, and full live bands. Annette has 20 years in the industry and a client list that includes Google, Ferrari, Mastercard and the Melbourne Fashion Festival, which tells you how the corporate side runs. Repertoire moves from Beyonce's Halo to Modjo's Lady, so one event can go from dinner strings to a dance floor without changing suppliers. Annette works with you from first concept through to the event itself, and holds public liability insurance and a Working with Children Check.
Watch
The show
Entertainment planned with you from the first idea through to the night itself, rather than someone who turns up on the day and plays. Annette Eldridge works across string ensembles, feature cello and violin, and DJ bands, so one event can move from classical strings during arrival and dinner to dance music later without swapping suppliers. The client list includes Google, Ferrari, Mastercard and the Melbourne Fashion Festival, which tells you the standard she's used to working at.
On the day
A covered performance area, out of the weather, since instruments and rain are a bad combination. Access to power as well, where the setup you have chosen needs it. Everything else gets handled at her end.
Performance options
Solo cello or violin suits guest arrival, a wedding ceremony, or canape and dinner music. The cello feature booking has her playing live around the venue during key moments of a wedding or corporate event, moving through the room rather than staying on a stage. The DJ and cello option starts the evening with live cello playing modern classics and film music, then shifts into DJ sets with live cello improvised over the top, working through deep house, dance anthems and current hits as the night builds. Every package can be reshaped to fit what you're planning.
