Live Caricaturing with Chris is a caricaturist for hire in Canberra, ACT.
Chris turns up, draws people, and sends the invoice afterwards. That's the whole arrangement. He works on an A3 pad in black pen with splashes of colour, taking roughly five minutes a face, which comes out somewhere between twelve and fourteen caricatures an hour. Two hour minimum. The queue usually becomes the loudest part of the night and the hardest group to move along, and that's generally taken as a good sign. Weddings, conferences, trade shows, parties, hens nights. Give him a couple of chairs and something small to rest the pad on. Canberra based.

The show
Chris shows up and starts drawing. Roughly five minutes a face, black pen on an A3 pad with colour dropped in where it lifts the picture, and that pace works out around twelve to fourteen finished caricatures in an hour. Two hours is the minimum booking. Here's the honest warning: the queue turns into the noisiest corner of the night and getting people to move along for dinner becomes somebody's job. Most hosts take that as the show working.
On the day
Barely anything. A couple of chairs so Chris and whoever he's drawing can sit, and something small to rest the pad on if there's a table spare. That's the lot.
