About
The Visibility Gap is a business speaker for hire in Marrickville, NSW.
Chris Schwager's argument is blunt: being visible is a leadership job, not something you hand to marketing and hope. His keynote digs into why capable business owners stay unseen, why patchy video presence chips away at trust, and what a consistent visibility system actually looks like day to day. Audiences get a framework they can use on Monday, backed by real business examples rather than theory. The talk runs 30 to 60 minutes, or stretches to 75 to 90 with a Q&A and a live application session. A half-day practical workshop is available on top. Slides optional. He's happy without them. Insured.
The show
Chris makes an argument rather than a presentation, and the argument is that visibility belongs to leadership, not to the marketing team. Along the way an audience gets why patchy video presence quietly erodes trust, how authority builds through turning up consistently, and which systems make that sustainable instead of exhausting. Real business examples do the heavy lifting. People leave with things they can act on rather than notes they'll never open.
On the day
A lapel or headset mic is preferred. If you run slides or video, an HDMI connection carrying audio and a 16:9 screen. A confidence monitor helps if the venue has one. The speaking slot works anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes. Recording the session for later use is fine by him. And if slides aren't practical, he's comfortable without them.
Performance options
The keynote runs 45 to 60 minutes and is built to shift how a room thinks about visibility. Stretch it to 75 or 90 and you get the framework broken down properly plus live application with the audience. On top of either, there's an optional half day workshop covering messaging clarity, confidence in front of a camera, and building visibility into a system. Travel and accommodation are quoted separately where they apply.
