About
Hahndorf Town is a brass band for hire in Hahndorf, SA.
Hahndorf Town Band has been playing in the Adelaide Hills since 1926. It's a community brass band, and it works the way community brass bands should: parades, fetes, festivals, launches and local celebrations, indoors or out. The repertoire takes in popular music, light classical and a large stack of traditional and contemporary brass arrangements. They'll provide background music if that's what the day needs, or step up to a full concert program with guest singers and support artists. No power or microphones required, unless somebody needs an MC. Public liability insurance is held with Zurich.
On the day
Brass carries on its own. Hahndorf Town Band play acoustically, so no power point and no microphones are needed for the music itself. The only exception is if someone has to address the crowd, in which case a microphone for master of ceremonies duties is worth having. Otherwise the band arrives, sets up in the space you have given them, and plays.
