About
Mojo Matters is a blues band for hire in Melbourne, VIC.
Four players out of Melbourne, anchored in 1950s blues and everything the legends who followed did with it. Mojo Matters keep it unpretentious. No reinvention, no clever angle, just honest playing with a bit of grit on it, and a dance floor that fills up because the songs were built that way. They've held down residencies and worked the city's blues rooms regularly for more than two years, which is the sort of thing that sharpens a band. They arrive with everything they need to play. Good fit for a pub, a party, or any room where people want to move rather than sit and nod politely.

On the day
Short answer: nothing. Mojo Matters arrive with the full kit and get on with it, so there is no equipment list to work through with your venue and no gear to chase up before the night. Give them a corner with power and enough floor to stand four players side by side, and the rest is theirs to sort out. It makes them an easy booking for a pub or a party where you have plenty of other things to think about.
