About

The Zarina Bellydance Twins is a belly dance act for hire in Perth, WA.

Two dancers, moving together, which is the appeal of booking twins for middle eastern dance. The Zarina Bellydance Twins work across Perth for private parties, weddings, corporate events, restaurant nights and ladies' nights, and they build each show around what the event needs and any cultural considerations you raise. Requests are welcome. Solo bookings and split shows are options too, along with dance workshops if you'd rather your guests joined in. They arrive fifteen to twenty minutes early to settle in. The venue needs to provide adequate space and a proper sound system unless it's a commercial room with its own. Insured, including for fire performance.

Watch

The show

The twins turn up fifteen to twenty minutes before they're due on, which sounds obvious until you've had a performer walk in at the last second. That head start means they're changed, warmed up and across the run sheet before anyone's watching. The show itself is built for your event rather than pulled from a standard routine, so what you get on the night reflects the brief you gave. Communication before the day is direct and straightforward, and they're happy to move if your timings shift.

On the day

You'll need to sort two things. Clear space to dance in, which sounds obvious but gets forgotten once the tables go in, so protect a proper area rather than assuming guests will shuffle back. And a decent sound system, supplied by you. The one exception is a commercial venue with its own rig already installed, in which case you're covered and there's nothing else to organise.

Performance options

Their standard show runs fifteen to twenty minutes of non-stop dancing, and there's a version of it for whichever room you're filling: a private party, a corporate function, a wedding, a restaurant night or a henna and ladies' night. Book one dancer or both. There's also a split format, where each twin dances a solo spot before joining together at the end, which stretches the performance out to around three quarters of an hour. Workshops are the other option, running forty-five minutes to an hour if you'd rather your guests learned a few moves themselves. Existing shows can be extended, or a new one designed from scratch.
