About
Raqs Sharqi (bellydancer) is a belly dancer for hire in Milperra, NSW.
Raqs Sharqi is the traditional dance of the SWANA region, and this Milperra based dancer performs it properly, with authentic costuming and music rather than a loose approximation. Solo shows are shaped to the event, whether that's a dinner, a celebration or a themed night, and audience interaction comes in where it suits the room. It stays family friendly throughout. Before the day there's a conversation about performance time, how long the set runs, dressing space and a sound check. Also available for dance workshops.
The show
A solo Raqs Sharqi performance with the costuming and music the dance actually calls for, not a loose imitation of it. It's shaped to the event, so a dinner, a birthday or a themed night each get something different, and there's audience interaction where the room wants it. Family friendly the whole way through.
On the day
There's a conversation before the day covering when the performance happens, how long it runs, where she can get changed, and a check of the sound system. Sort those out early and the performance slots into your schedule without any last minute shuffling.
