About
The Cavern Club is a band for hire in Perth, WA.
The Cavern Club plays early rock and roll with the rough-edged energy of a hard-working live band. Their repertoire reaches into songs by Chuck Berry, Eddie Cochran, Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis and Ray Charles, alongside selected Beatles favourites. The presentation leaves out wigs, forced accents and costume imitation, keeping the focus on the playing itself. Rather than a restrained trip through familiar material, the group approaches the songs as dance music. It’s a direct, lively tribute to the sound that filled clubs before rock and roll became polished nostalgia.
