About
The Bypassers is a band for hire in Ballarat, VIC.
Soft rock out of Ballarat, played by a trio of drums, bass, guitar and voice. The Bypassers mostly perform their own songs, with releases on the way, but they're open to working covers in to suit the mood you're after. Past ones include Riptide, Treasure, Fluorescent Adolescent and Brazil. They're keen on festivals and larger gigs. Amps and mics can come with them, and the drum kit too if needed, though for bigger events they'd rather you had a PA and a sound tech so the mix does the songs justice. Setup and pack-down are quick, and they answer messages fast.
The show
Soft rock from Ballarat, drums, bass, guitar and voice. The Bypassers mostly play their own material, with releases on the way, though they are happy to fold covers in to suit the room. Riptide, Treasure, Fluorescent Adolescent and Brazil have all been worked up before. They reply to messages quickly, are flexible with dates, and get in and out of a venue without dragging it out. Festivals and larger gigs are what they are chasing.
On the day
Amplifiers and a microphone can come from the band. The drum kit can travel with them too if you need it carried. For larger events they would rather your venue supplied the PA and a sound technician, so the mix does the songs justice in a bigger room.
Song list
Mainly original songs but open to adding covers to create a vibe suited to what is required.
