Louie The Fly is a band for hire in Central Coast, NSW.
Mellow is the whole idea here. LOUIE THE FLY are a four-piece from the Central Coast playing blues-inspired music that leaves room for people to talk, which is exactly what you want at some events and exactly wrong at others. Between them the members have hundreds of gigs behind them in Australia and the UK. The set mixes their own songs with covers: Roadhouse Blues, Little Red Rooster, Sharp Dressed Man, Folsom Prison Blues, Sweet Home Chicago, Look What You've Done. As they put it, it's all about the rhythm and the blues. They bring everything including the PA, and just need power and somewhere to set up.

The show
Volume is the point of difference. LOUIE THE FLY play mellow and laid back, and they keep it at a level where people can still hear each other across a table. For a dinner, a long lunch or an event where the conversation matters as much as the music, that's exactly right. For a room you want dancing by nine, look elsewhere. The music itself leans on the blues, with their own songs sitting alongside the covers, and the four of them have a lot of gigs behind them.
On the day
Everything comes with them, instruments and PA included, so there's no gear for you to chase up. What they need from your end is somewhere to set up and access to power. That's genuinely it. Have a think about where in the room you want them, since a mellow four piece works best somewhere the sound spreads evenly rather than blasting one corner of the tables.
