About
Liberte Band is a band for hire in Perth, WA.
Liberte Band mixes original music with pop, funk and jazz covers for live and corporate settings. The group’s first single, Upside Down Town, received radio play in Australia and overseas and appeared on Foxtel. A later release, Let It Burn, also reached commercial and community radio. In 2017, Liberte performed at the World Wide Web Conference for leaders from Google, Instagram and Facebook. Their original work has addressed social and political subjects, including the Ellington Jazz Club production Personality Disorder Catalyst. That show sold out, giving the band a theatrical setting for its own songs alongside its broader event repertoire.
