Kaijin Solo and The Backbeats is a band for hire in Central Coast, NSW.
Stomping rock at one end, swinging blues at the other. Kaijin Solo and The Backbeats work the Central Coast as a full band playing originals alongside selected classic rock covers, and as a duo when the room wants something smoother, pushing rhythm and blues toward jazz. Kaijin has been signed to Fogsong Records since 2020. In December 2023 the band supported the Radiators at Ourimbah, then played a packed room at Mumbos in Terrigal. Give them notice and they'll shape a set around a wedding, a corporate night or a function. They need a stage big enough for a kit and three other players, plus power. If there's no house PA, they can bring one.
The show

As a duo it's a smoother thing altogether, rhythm and blues drifting toward jazz, which suits a room where people want to talk. Same act, two very different nights depending on which you book.
On the day
The band needs a stage, raised if possible, with room for a drum kit and three other players. Multiple single phase power outlets. A house sound system or PA is ideal, and if your venue hasn't got one they can supply it, worked out around how big the room is.
Performance options
Give them reasonable notice and they'll put a set together around your occasion, whether that's a wedding, a corporate night or a private function. The band or the duo, depending on which suits the room.
