About
Chaotic Disturbance is a band for hire in Ravenshoe, QLD.
Grungey punk from Ravenshoe, heavy on distortion, double kick and a solid bass line underneath. The songs are all originals and the lyrics go after things: sugar addiction, psychotic love, the way society is put together. Titles include Manhoare, Snap Me, Rubbish Like You, Cycle of Violence, Pokermachine and Bin No Moor. Vocals are loud and harsh, the attack is fast, and every so often they drop the pace for a beat before it comes back. They bring their own drum kit, mics, leads, instruments and PA.
Watch
The show
Loud, fast and harsh, with the vocals matching the guitars rather than sitting politely on top. The lyrics are the point: sugar addiction, psychotic love, the shape of the society everyone's living in. Every so often the pace drops out for a beat or two and then the whole thing lands back on you. All originals, nothing borrowed. If you want a band that softens the edges for the room, this isn't it.
On the day
They turn up self-contained. Drum kit, microphones, leads, instruments and the PA all come with them, so your venue only needs to give them somewhere to set up and power to run it.
