B'Daddy and the Double D's is a band for hire in Gold Coast, QLD.
Rockabilly with a hot rod under it. Dave spent ten years playing five nights a week at Dracula's to rooms of 500 people before taking the band on full time, and the set is stacked with the good stuff: Stray Cat Strut, Rock This Town, Fishnet Stockings, Sleepwalk, Misirlou, Get Rhythm, Folsom Prison Blues, Twenty Flight Rock. They can push it hard or pull it back to suit whoever is in front of them. The band brings a professional live sound system and can get hold of a mobile stage if you need one. All musicians carry public liability insurance and the electrical gear is tested and tagged.

The show
The volume is yours to set. B'Daddy and the Double D's can push the rockabilly harder than most bands will, and that's the version you want when the floor is full and the night has hit its stride. But they'll pull it back just as readily for dinner, a ceremony or an earlier crowd who want to hear each other talk. They watch who's in front of them and adjust.
On the day
They turn up with their own professional live sound system, so the venue doesn't need to supply a PA. And if the event needs a proper platform, the band can get hold of a mobile stage. Worth mentioning that when you enquire, since it's arranged rather than carried in the truck as standard.
