About
Jimbo the Clown is a balloon twister for hire in Derwent Park, TAS.
Full face makeup, a magic show, balloon figures and party games, running up to two hours. Jimbo has been doing this for over fifty years and has worked in every state. The basic show is magic plus a balloon for the birthday child; the full version adds balloons for every kid and games on top. He also works as Santa and as a balloon man for shopping centres and similar. One thing to sort out beforehand: parking at the venue, because he arrives already in costume. Your job is the children and the food. He handles the rest. Based in Derwent Park, Tasmania. Public liability insurance and a working with children card.
On the day
You handle the children and the food. Jimbo handles everything else, so once he's there you can sit down and actually watch your own party. One thing to sort out first: parking at the venue, close by. He arrives in full costume and makeup, so a long walk from the car park isn't ideal for anyone.
Performance options
Two versions of the party show. The shorter one is the magic show on its own. The bigger one runs the magic plus balloons and games, which is the one most birthday parties end up booking. He also works shopping centres and similar public jobs as a balloon man, booked by the hour. And he does Santa work when the season comes around.
