There's usually nothing for you to organise. Arrival is 15 to 30 minutes ahead of the start either way, which covers warming up and having a look at the space. If a particular act does need something set up, you'll hear about it well before the day and it gets sorted between you rather than sprung on you on arrival.

Three ways this works. Roving circus, where the performing happens among your guests as they eat and talk. A stage show, if you've got a proper focal point and want everyone watching the one thing. Or hosting and MC work at a private event, keeping the running order moving and the crowd with you. Which one suits comes down to your space and whether people will be seated.
