About
Circus Duo is an acrobatic act for hire in Melbourne, VIC.
A Melbourne circus pairing that works as a duo or splits into solos. Partner acrobatics and perch pole are the headline, and both need the roof height and stage size known in advance, so have those numbers handy. Solo work covers aerial, free standing lollipop lyra, hula hoops, stilt walking and handstand chairs. The portable lollipop lyra roves through a crowd and can pour champagne while it does, which tends to land well at cocktail hour. Add costumed characters, mermaid and LED performance, bubbles, dance and circus workshops and there's enough here to cover a wedding, a corporate night or a festival. Both hold working with children checks and public liability insurance.

The show
Book them together or separately. As a duo the work is partner acrobatics and perch pole, the sort of act a room stops talking for. On their own, they cover aerial, free standing lollipop lyra, hula hoops, stilt walking and handstand chairs. The portable lyra is the clever one: it moves through the crowd instead of hanging in one spot, and there's an option for the performer to pour champagne from it. Good fit for cocktail hour, a corporate night or a festival.
On the day
Two numbers they need before anything else: the roof height and the stage size. Partner acrobatics and perch pole both go up, and neither can be planned without knowing what's above the performers. Get those from your venue before you enquire and the conversation moves a lot faster.
Performance options
There is no single fixed show here. What the pair bring depends on which skills you want in the room and how long you want them going, so a short burst of partner acrobatics at a launch and a full evening of roving lollipop lyra and stilt walking are put together quite differently. Tell them the length of the booking, how many appearances you want across the night and which of the skills caught your eye, and they will shape it from there.
