About
Mary Cowell Duo is an acoustic guitar and singer duo for hire in St Ives, NSW.
Jazz, funk, pop and R&B meet in the Mary Cowell Duo's repertoire. Mary sings, accompanied by guitarist Ben McDermott, in a two-person format based in St Ives. Her Sydney performing experience includes the Marrickville Ritz, Manly Wharf Hotel and Hilton Marble Bar. Together, the duo draws on those different musical styles for acoustic performances, with the voice and guitar carrying the songs rather than a larger ensemble.
