Hairspray out, jeans on. Recall the 80s are six players from Melbourne doing 80s rock, pop and glam with no sequences and nothing on tape, which is rarer than it sounds. Living On A Prayer, The Final Countdown, Footloose, Jessie's Girl, Time Warp, Love Shack, Don't Stop Believin', plus the Australian side of the decade: Divinyls, The Angels, Mi-Sex, Mondo Rock, Pseudo Echo, INXS. As the band puts it, people don't just go to listen to a band, they want to see one. They'll use in-house gear or bring full production and a light show, which scales from a hundred people up to five thousand. Six musicians need a decent stage. Venues, corporate nights and weddings.

Hairspray, skin tight jeans and six musicians playing the 80s with no sequences running underneath. Rock, pop and glam, Wham through to the glam end of the decade, all the songs people know. Footloose and Time Warp, Jessie's Girl, Love Shack, The Final Countdown, Living On A Prayer, Don't Stop Believin'. Their own line on it is that an audience doesn't turn up merely to hear a band, it turns up to watch one, and the show gets built on that. Venues, corporate nights, weddings, festivals and private parties across Melbourne.
On the day
Six players need a proper stage or band area with room for a full kit, guitars and keyboards. Gear is flexible. They'll use suitable in-house equipment, or bring full production and a light show that scales from a hundred people up to five thousand. Tell them the room size and which way you want to go.
